Enjoying a prolific run in international cricket, the Indian team has undoubtedly benefitted from the inclusion of some young guns in the side. While all of them have impressed in their own capacity, there’s one particular youngster who stands out among the rest.
Hardik Pandya swears by living life king size and that exuberance finds expression in his powerful hitting and brisk seam bowling. Ever since his inclusion, Pandya has become an integral part of the Indian team. His batting might has aided the Indian middle-order and steered them out of trouble, while his seam bowling has provided crucial breakthroughs to his side.
The recently-concluded ODI series against Australia was no different. The Baroda boy impressed everyone with his explosive batting and then backed it up with his bowling. To put his contributions in perspective, India’s 4-1 win in the five-match series wouldn’t have been possible without his commendable exploits.
With the T20I series decider scheduled for 13 October in Hyderabad, Pandya will once again be expected to rise to the occasion and deliver for his side in the summit clash. And, that’s exactly why he was seen honing his skills at the nets in a recent Team India practice session.

In a video uploaded by BCCI, Pandya was seen bowling and was asked to target the marker placed in the good length area of the pitch. It didn’t require a second try for the young all-rounder to hit the bulls-eye as seen in the video.
Going by the latest video, we won’t be surprised to see Pandya running through the defence of the Australian batsmen on Friday – a sight that would undoubtedly silence his critics and push his side to yet another series win.
