Yuvraj SIngh Became The Fifth Indian Cricketer To Reach 300TH ODI Milestone

He fought off cancer. Got the better of his tumultuous form to regain his spot in the Indian team. And now, Yuvraj Singh – one of the most iconic cricketers in Team India – has achieved yet another milestone.

As the Virat Kohli brigade locked horns with a resilient Bangladeshi side, the Indian southpaw reached his 300th One-Day International (ODI) for India. In doing so, he became only the fifth Indian cricketer after Mohammad Azharuddin, Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly and Rahul Dravid to complete 300 ODIs.

He has always been a storehouse of talent. His comeback, after battling cancer, was an emotional moment for all his teammates and fans. Over the years, Yuvraj has proved to be a vital cog in the Indian batting line-up as he continues to deliver for his side in dire situations.

While Yuvi’s spin bowling wasn’t used by skipper Kohli, his contribution with the bat is what everyone is waiting to see today.

From former cricketers to his teammates, here’s how Twitter celebrated Yuvraj’s latest milestone:

Yuvraj thanks his family.

Teammates Zaheer Khan and Virat Kohli congratulated Yuvraj for his achievement.

Harbhajan Singh clearly can’t control his happiness

We definitely agree with Virender Sehwag.

VVS laxman and Shikhar Dhawan didn’t miss the chance to congratulate Yuvraj.
